Cantor Usher Wurzel is the son of Cantor Samuel Wurzel and
the Late Grandfater Cantor Usher Zeilig Wurzel of Chechnov
Poland. Cantor Usher Wurzel has served a congregation for
the past 20 years as Cantor for the High HolyDays and year
round and is well known for his tenor voice. Cantor Wurzel
has worked with a volunteer choir and youths. Cantor Wurzel
is a student of Cantor Dr. Leon Berger and has studied Chaznut
and voice culture.
Cantor Wurzel is the recipient of the Chechnov Cong. Award
for being the best Chazan. He also received the Best Man of
the Year Award at the Chechnov Cong. in Poland.
