Cantor Joseph Lutman is the son of the late famous
Israeli Cantor Fishele Lutman known throughout the East Coast
for his outstanding interpretations of Cantorial Liturgy.
Cantor Joe, as he is affectionately known, has served large
and prestigious congregations for the past 30 years. He is well
known not only for his beautiful lyric baritone voice, strong
chazzanut, original musical compositions, but also for his exemplary
work with choirs; both adult and youth.
Cantor Lutman is the recipient of the National Solomon Schechter
Award in Music from United Synagogue. He received the Distinguished
Service Award from the University of Judaism and the Man of
the Year Award was bestowed upon him by the National Federation
of Jewish Men's Clubs Inc.
