Daniel Eli Friedman is the Cantor at Las Vegas'
historic Temple Beth Sholom. Prior to his current position
as Cantor of Temple Beth Sholom, Cantor Freidman served as
an Associate Cantor and sang with the Makhelah for the High
Holy Days at Adat Ari El in Los Angeles. While at Adat Ari
El he mentored with the esteemed Hazzan Alan Michaelson, of
blessed memory, and studied voice and hazzanut with Cantor
Nate Lam of Steven S. Wise Synagogue. In addition to studying
hazzanut, Cantor Friedman was integrally involved in the Havurat
Noar and dor Chadash educational programs sposored by the
Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. Over the past 15 years and
concrrent with his Cantorial responsibilities, Cantor Friedman
worked as a professional singer/actor based out of New York
City. Cantor Friedman performed leading roles while touring
antionally and internationally with such luminous Broadway
shows as "CATS,"Les Miserables" and "Forever
Plaid," among others. Cantor Friedman is a graduate of
UCLA where he earned a BA in Theatre Arts with a minor in
Philosophy.
